In designing built-in video for the Macintosh IIci, Apple has added only 3 components to the logic board:

     • RBV chip
     • VDAC
     • Video connector

The Macintosh IIci utilizes a portion of main memory to store the screen buffer in place of a dedicated bank of video RAM.©ˇƒ
